As our Warehouse Supervisor internally titled, Customer Logistics Supervisor you will provide leadership and general supervision to your employees in a high volume 220 square feet distribution center. You’ll be doing this while growing and building your career by learning the fundamentals of supervision and leadership at Ryder. You will support the Operations Manager and ensure the primary responsibilities of timely order fulfillment, picking, packing, shipping, maintaining inventory accuracy within the WMS and optimization of resources and processes. In addition you will support the areas of inbound operations including accurate product receipt and put-away. You will also supervise and lead people to ensure compliance with company policies/procedures, continual process improvement and drive employee initiatives to create and promote an environment where employees are involved, empowered, and committed to the success of the company.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety and welfare of the staff, this includes OSHA training, forklift training, MAZ Mat training, etc.
Evaluate department processes. Recommend and coordinate needed changes based on process analysis
Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews
Communicate with other Supervisors and Managers
Serve on committees and teams as department representative
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree Related field (or equivalent experience will be considered).
EXPERIENCE
Three (3) years or more experience 1-3 years Warehouse Receiving
SKILLS
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
KNOWLEDGE
User knowledge of SAP; advanced level.
User lever knowledge of Windows and MS Office; advanced level.
