Job Summary

The warehouse manager is responsible for the personnel and processes associated with the shipping, receiving, and warehouse part presentation functions for production. This includes picking of parts for production and aftermarket part sales, receiving parts at the facility, shipping of aftermarket orders, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring all personnel adhere to company policies.

Responsibilities and Duties

Improve and maintain 6S of warehouse

Supervise Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse hourly employees

Conduct necessary and required coaching or training

Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to lean material flow processes

Ensure compliance to all safety and workplace policies

Implement corrective actions to improve picking accuracy and delivery timing of kits to manufacturing

Implement corrective actions to decrease kit shortages to manufacturing

Measure department goals and implement corrective actions to meet all targets,

Create and maintain KPA board

Qualifications and Skills

Highly adept at Microsoft Office programs

High level of oral and written communication at all levels

Experience in lean material flow required – certification preferred

Ability to create and implement process and material flow

Ability to manage multiple timelines, priorities, and responsibilities

Ability to create path from current state to targeted state

Minimum 5 years in a warehouse environment

Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Education:

Bachelor degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
