The Warehouse Logistics Manager leads the Salad and Go efforts of distribution, movement, and storage of supplies.

Their main duties include reviewing budgets, processing shipments, and building delivery routes.

A warehouse logistics manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the storage procedure of an organization by performing duties that range from the complicated adequately trained storage logistics to keeping an eye on warehouse team members, scheduling shifts, and ensuring the development of the entire team.

This position is responsible for the detailed planning, organization, management, and implementation of complex operations related to warehousing.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing facility and distribution Safety Programs including FMCSA.
Managing and planning for logistics or transportation issues including contract carrier capacity.
Keeping track of the number of goods as well as stock levels, delivery times and transportation costs.
Maintaining reports and records of inventory and monitor and manage budgets.
Tracking the status of goods in real-time to ensure contracts are being fulfilled
Delivering solutions to any logistics problems while maintaining a high quality of service.
Manage the warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory.
Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.
Keep up to date on shipping carriers, routes and rate and any changes to them.
Overseeing and monitoring of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency

Organizing warehouse, categorizing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments
Tackling and resolving any issues or complaints that may arise
Supervising, coaching, and training the warehouse team
Keeping track of the cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeline targets
Working in conformity with laws, regulations, and policies
Resolving delivery inconsistencies or delay
Developing an environment that fosters open and positive team communication by setting expectations and communicating the company’s goals or objectives
Taking care of inquiries or compliance issues related to shipping or transportation matters
Ensuring that shipping documents are well kept, updated, and in compliance.

Examples include cost statements, health certificates, permits, etc.
Working in relation to production departments, quality assurance, and supply chain analysts in the organization
Examining, identifying, planning, and managing special logistics and warehousing processes or operations which involves ensuring that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are accurately maintained.
Requirements

Has keen attention to detail, with strong numerical and analytical skills
Is a strong leader and team player who focuses on developing the team

Has the ability to handle multiple projects and work independently
Has excellent analytical, problem solving, self-management, and organizational skills
Is well developed oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to instruct team members effectively, and effectively file reports to the upper management of the organization
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or 5 years practical experience
Has high computer literacy, which involves being able to work with Microsoft packages
ERP and WMS Experience a plus.

Has the ability to influence individuals and teams to achieve set or desired goals and objectives.
