The primary purpose of this job is to be a strategic partner to Real Estate business, ensure technology architecture supports business goals and fully leverages enterprise architecture and to lead the Mortgage Technology Projects.
This position will work across the division to establish priorities and work across the Company to ensure initiatives are accomplished timely, within budget and achieve the desired benefits.
This position will develop and maintain strong relationship across the business, IT, Compliance, Legal and our vendors are critical to the success of the group.

Identify end-to-end opportunities that will position PenFed as a leader in innovation, execution and efficiency in support priorities.
Ensure Mortgage Technology Architecture is fully defined, integrated with enterprise architecture, to enable rapid time to market of technology solutions in meeting business goals.
Optimize member experience journeys in direct collaboration with Line of Business and other stakeholders to move mortgage leads with best in class experience.
Successfully influence, lead, develop and execute highly visible, innovative and complex programs.
Directly lead all third party relationships and overall risk management.
Develop Mortgage Technology strategy to support Mortgage business growth plans.
Develop and maintain an initiative prioritization process to ensure it aligns with Division goals.
Develop and execute a communication plan across the Division and with key internal and external partners.
Develop and implement appropriate technology management disciplines including Architecture and Agile methodologies.
Leverage industry best practices.
Develop and lead change management routines across the Division and Credit Union when appropriate.
Support individual project leadership through issue resolution and removal of roadblocks.
Analyze emerging risks and opportunities that may impact PenFed and present strategies to the Mortgage Division executive team.
Establish a vendor oversight program for the Mortgage Division including performance measurements; developing strategies and programs to ensure a high level of vendor efficiency, reports results, and identifies opportunities for improved performance.
Responsible for $5-10MM capital spend annually This role is responsible for ensuring business continuity.
Education and Experience Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
Bachelor’s Degree in economics, engineering, finance or related field required.
Master’s Degree in Business is preferred.
Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ of direct experience in financial services and mortgage technology.
Minimum of five (5) years’ in a Director or above role.
Experience leading Agile Projects Experience leading large mortgage technology implementations Experience with Ellie Mae Encompass platform and Black Knight platform is desired
