As a member of the US management team, you’ll be responsible for defining and leading the US people strategy in collaboration with the CFO, COO and wider leadership team.

You’ll be responsible for implementing and maintaining the infrastructure as well as identifying and coordinating People services.

You’ll drive operational excellence throughout the organization with a focus on moving the business forward.

You will directly manage a team and regularly liaise with the remainder of the People Team working in Europe and India .

Key Responsibilities

Company Strategy:

  • Develop the organizational People strategy in compliance with corporate group strategy.

    Own the development and implementation of all initiatives in line with organizational objectives.

  • Work with the CFO, COO and leadership team to drive a performance focused culture as well as providing strategic counsel on all people matters.
  • Keep the CFO and leadership team informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of company goals.
  • Integrate talent mapping into the performance management process and use outputs to work with the executive team on long-term strategies and initiatives that support retention and development for all employees.
  • Manage large scale transformation programs through strategic planning and delivery of project initiatives.

  • Deploy annual employee engagement surveys and work with the executive team to develop action plans to ensure the business is future-focused to reduce attrition and keep talented people in the business.
  • Develop, monitor and deploy global People KPIs that clearly measure levels of success and return on investment.
  • Responsible for managing the department annual budget in respect to learning & development, reward, social and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Establish reward practices in relation to salary structure, pay policies, bonus and salary review. Maintaining these practices on an annual cycle that ensures the business remains competitive.
  • Lead competitive market research to establish pay practices.
  • Strategically review benefit initiatives and ensure they remain competitive for all locations and markets.

Organization Design:

  • Lead talent acquisition initiatives by working with the recruitment manager to ensure the new hire process incorporates future needs and develops our employer brand.
  • Develop attraction and selection tools and implement campaign planning to improve the accuracy of hiring decisions.
  • Contribute to the long-term goals around business and people development, including succession planning and talent acquisition.
  • Champion global change issues providing support and direction to the executive team on organization design.

Employee Satisfaction & ER:

  • Develop and drive initiatives in relation to wellbeing, health and counselling policies and practices.
  • Lead the analysis of employee feedback and data, with the aim of creating a better working environment and engaged culture.
  • Provide counsel to the executive team on complex employee relations issues.

People Operations:

  • Responsible for managing all People related systems i.e.

    BambooHR, benchmarking platforms, payroll etc.

    to improve the quality of service, respond to the changing needs of stakeholders and ensure efficiency, effectiveness and value for money.

  • Lead the US People Team
    – ensure they have the tools to fulfil their roles to a high standard and provide advice and guidance on people operations and HR related issues.
  • Support the ongoing development of the People Team – including carrying out PDP reviews, weekly 1-2-1 meetings and exposing them to People related activities for their learning.
  • Direct the work of the People Team to ensure delivery of its strategic and operational objectives.
  • Responsible for US legal compliance across all people related tasks and initiatives.

All Candidates Should Possess

  • Strong commercial awareness and acumen and the ability to partner with the business to deliver commercially focused People strategies.
  • Good overall understanding of company finances and uses this to develop global policies and initiatives.
  • Strong coaching skills with proven experience of influencing at all levels.
  • Proven experience of managing a People team, ideally in a matrix organization.
  • Solid US employment law knowledge and proven experience of applying legislation to a variety of people situations.
  • Managed transformation programmes including mergers, acquisitions and TUPE.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
  • Thrives on constant change, being self-managed and drives own and departments development and focus.
  • Acts as a role model, leading on values, initiatives and culture.
  • US payroll exposure with experience of managing US teams and processes.
  • Previous experience of working within SMEs and corporate environments, possessing the breadth of knowledge and expertise to drive the business forward.
  • Strong innovator with ability to create new concepts and bring something different to the table.
  • Experience of leading international People and Talent teams is a bonus.

Medical Cover:

  • You are entitled to Medical Care at a range split 80% (Investis Digital)/ 20% (Employee) depending on which plan you choose, including both Dental and Vision coverage.

Vacation:

  • You are entitled to 20 days of PTO annually at an accrual rate of 13.33 hours monthly with up to an 80-hour annual rollover.
  • You are entitled to 1 day per fiscal quarter to support volunteer efforts for a charity of your choice.

    Proper documentation of completed volunteer efforts is required.

401k Plan:

  • We will also include a 401K plan which will be made available to you after 3 months of employment with the Company.

Day Care:

  • Dependent day care flexible spending account for childcare costs up to the amount of $5,000 (pre-tax dollars).

Remote and Flexible Working
