Vice President of Training & Development

Immunotek

This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted November 14, 2021.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties.

Responsible for all functions within the training department, including hiring, assignment, and direction of work, development of employees, disciplinary actions, and terminations within the Training team.

Work effectively and partner with the Training Directors and Training staff to ensure daily operations are in full compliance.

Utilize knowledge of adult learning principles and change methodologies to develop the leaders within the organization.

Collaborate with the team to create, execute and refine talent development strategies used throughout the organization.

Create and implement a leadership development program for current and future leaders.

Implement and maintain oversight of a Learning Management System.

Oversee and collaborate with others on content development.

Partner with peer leaders to develop training support for the operations, quality, and support teams within the organization.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree preferred.

In addition, at least ten (10) years’ experience leading the learning and development initiatives for an organization in a regulated environment.

Two (2) to five (5) years of experience managing a content development team is preferred.

Must have a proven track record for creating and implementing leadership development programs.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities.

Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Must have explicit attention to detail.

Ability to work with a team and collaborate with others.

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Physical Requirements.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time for up to four (4) hours at a time.

Ability to sit for extended periods of time for up to (4) hours at a time and view a computer screen.

Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifty (50) pounds.

Ability to travel by plane, or car as required to train or assist centers as needed..
