Duos Technologies is seeking to fill the full-time position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and vision required to build, expand, and cultivate the company’s business development, sales, and marketing activities.
With a focus on multiple verticals, including but not limited to passenger and freight rail transportation, correctional facilities, security, and distribution center logistics, the VP of Sales and Marketing will be responsible to drive growth in all markets.
In addition, this role will be responsible to set vision and strategy for revenue projections spanning years into the future, incorporating brand development, and anticipating scalability of the organization.
This position is based in Jacksonville, FL.

Our core proprietary technologies incorporate artificial intelligence applications, including video analytics-based security applications, intelligent process controls, and information technologies, for a wide range of global customers.
Responsibilities: Develops and implements strategic sales plan and projections with clear and definable growth expectations in all verticals Strategic sales plans align to meet or exceed corporate goals over a 3 year timeframe Responsible for sales forecasting and setting performance goals for account managers and business development managers Reviews market analyses to define customer needs, pricing strategies, product requirements, value proposition, and competitive advantage in company business plan Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop sales and marketing groups Directs vertical development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals—to include internal staff, external sales reps, co-marketing arrangements, and resellers as part of a comprehensive business development strategy Responsible for all sales/marketing budgets including travel, trade shows, marketing collateral, advertising, translation, internal and external commissions Analyzes sales/marketing statistics and results to formulate policy and assist sales team, and coordinates with marketing to gather data that informs both marketing and sales plans Develops and delivers presentations, web presence, literature, and other Marcom collateral that focus and define the Duos Technologies vision for high stakes customers Establishes customer strategy and develops relationships with key clients in defined verticals, assisting sales staff with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals Provides management guidance on all sales/marketing strategies, plans, and results Qualifications: BS in technical field required Post-graduate school a plus 10 years as Sales Director or higher level required Company experience in a high tech, small to medium-sized business is a must Entrepreneurial experience a plus Demonstrated excellence in communication and negotiating skills are a must, in particular with multi-billion dollar customers Demonstrated technical knowledge and ability to communicate across business departments (engineering, procurement, upper management) to negotiate large multi-million dollar deals Demonstrated ability to formulate elements of business plan related to the top line (Sales Projections/Strategy and Plan, Marketing Plan, Competition Analysis, and Competitive Advantage, Value Proposition) Demonstrated leadership and team management capability with emphasis on team promotion, training, growth and goal setting for high performance Deep understanding of financials and profitability measures required Bi-lingual English and Spanish is a plus
