Transportation Spoke Manager

Minimum qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience leading a regional transportation team.

Experience managing contract manufacturers and external customers (RFPs, rates and SLAs).

Experience operating in an evolving business Organizationel to develop forward, reverse, multi-pickup, and dropship logistics networks.

Preferred qualifications 2 years of experience working with white glove vendors for data center last miles and installation.

2 years of program management experience in data center construction materials fulfillment.

Experience leading a team of direct and indirect reports and service partners.

Working knowledge of import/export compliance processes; including documentation, HTS classification, etc.

Track record of developing strong relationships with internal customers (manufacturing, facilities, finance, procurement) and service providers.

Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

About the job Our Transportation Operations team actively manages the freight network for all the technical infrastructure data centers around the world in a dynamic, fast changing environment.

Our team excels in vendor management, project execution, technology integration and strategic relationship management with all stakeholders.

Key results include freight optimization, savings, network deployment lead time and in-transit inventory.

In this role, you will lead a team of multiple on-site transportation service operation teams, vendors, and service partners across the region and drive regional transportation operation projects in the Americas (US and LatAm).

In this role, you will enhance the customer experience and drive more efficient transit at reduced expense.

You will be responsible for managing all activities related to transportation (international Institute, ocean freight, domestic into and out from) and white glove service from suppliers to last mile data center facilities, while achieving total-cycle time, performance and costs for the Americas.

Responsibilities Lead a regional Americas team and own the respective regional transportation budgets while overseeing all operational aspects of domestic and international freight for spoke activities and implementation.

Develop, plan, and execute the short and long-term strategic vision and sCompanyequent transportation initiatives for both supplier inbound freight and outbound shipments to data centers.

Leverage inbound small parcel, LTL, truckload, and international freight relationships to develop an optimally efficient network that drives lower costs per unit and increases efficient deliveries for the region.

Leverage industry knowledge through RFPs and negotiation.

Drive carrier and service provider performance for the region.

Drive accountability of network performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) through comprehensive KPIs and trending analytics.

Track, monitor, and identifies opportunities to improve customer experience while optimizing expense for the Americans region.
