Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership and people management team leadership role.
  • Experience with test automation, system test design, embedded systems, and consumer electronics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 6 years of experience providing technical leadership and leading projects (e.g., test, release, etc.).
  • 5 years of leadership experience and working with executive leaders.
  • Experience with hardware and software interaction for embedded systems.

As a Test Engineering Manager for this team you will have the opportunity to define the vision and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, grow, and scale the formed Devices testing team.
  • Provide expertise, direction for testing frameworks, test tools, and methodologies for embedded systems and software, while fostering continuous innovation and development.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally to understand use cases and create tests based on requirements and design, define tools, and process for velocity, quality, and predictability, and create synergy in testing while leveraging skills and expertise to scale Devices testing.
  • Own, define, and drive testing strategy to support business requirements and to enhance the Devices quality and performance.
