What does a great Technical Consultant, Sr do?
In this position you will work in a team-oriented and fast-paced work environment.This is a key role in the Credit Union Solutions Professional Services area focusing on working directly with credit union clients to lead discovery and generate requirements needed for the custom development requested by the client.You are also responsible for leading the custom development project and for the associated project-management of the engagement; ensuring projects meet the agreed-to timelines and delivery dates.
The associate will be the principle face of Fiserv for the client and be the conduit between the Fiserv Maestro Professional Services team and the credit union.
Maestro Professional Services focuses on partnering with credit union partners to envision, develop, implement, maintain, and support custom EAI workflow solutions that meets unique needs at the financial institution.We work to build lasting partner relationships with our clients through well thought out and implemented solutions and with the highest level of professionalism and support in all our client interactions.
You will support and help address both client project concerns and issues, preform problem-solving and root cause analysis as needed, be responsible for issue updating, configuration requests, change requests, as well as liaison with third-party vendors that may affect the Credit Union Maestro systems.
You serve as an escalation point for other areas of the Maestro team including: Development, Business Consulting, and Quality Assurance.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to aid in technical client installations and client support services as well as providing analysis, consultation and general product knowledge where needed to clients running the Maestro suite of products.
You will be responsible for all facets of project coordination and management.
The principle goal of the position is to ensure success client projects and achieve high levels of client satisfaction in all areas of client interaction.The position requires hands on use of our Fiserv products and excellent customer service skills.You will interact with clients, Fiserv staff, and third-party vendors at varying levels.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration :
8 Years experience in any of the following areas: Basic Networking communications, Banking/Credit Union financial services, Client Support or Operations.
B.A./B.S.
in either Business, I.T., Finance or Computer Science
Expert project management skills
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
Under limited supervision, discover, record, and develop business requirements needed to achieve client professional services projects and setting project scope and objectives
Leading project teams comprised of clients, development, QA, deployment, and support
Research and fact-finding to develop necessary requirements based on stated requests and needs analysis
Use extensive business knowledge and a solid understanding of enterprise systems to define system business processes and workflows that meet both business and end-user needs
Research available solutions, internal and external; as well as coordinate resolutions for project related issues
Leads all project related meetings, status meetings, change requests, and project management related tasks
Document system defects with detailed analysis and escalate as needed
Lead the move into production of projects in conjunction with delivery team.
Functions include meeting lead, verification of systems, and client support outside of standard business hours
Communicate with third party vendors when needed
Required on-call / after-hours support when needed
Relationship-building qualities including being highly adaptable, collaborative, people-oriented
Experience with a team-centered working environment focusing on collaboration
Experience with Business Consulting or Business Analysis
Exposure with supporting Intersystems Ensemble or IRIS Programming languages
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with good detail orientation.
Excellent communication skills, including strong written and verbal communications
Strong knowledge of software business and products and an in-depth knowledge of how technology can address customers needs.
Knowledge of Fiserv products and systems, with a working knowledge of the financial services industry.
