We’re looking for a Teams Services Senior Manager to join our growing team.
Job Description: The Enterprise Collaboration (EC) Practice Teams Services Senior Manager is a leadership position that focused on the startup, management, and growth of Teams Services for Microsoft cloud solutions, beginning with Microsoft 365 /Office 365 .
The core functions of the role include defining the scope of Teams Services offerings, developing estimation models and tools, defining roles and resource requirements, marketing and sales strategy, and supporting sales of Teams Services offerings including the development of statements of work and proposal development, and service delivery oversight.
A key part of this role is serving as a trusted advisor for clients who are trying to leverage value from their investments in Microsoft 365 /Office 365 .
The ideal candidate has managed services experience that includes resource management, customer engagement and service delivery management.
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a passion for helping organizations improve how they communicate and collaborate with Microsoft 365 /Office 365 and demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The Teams Services Senior Manager will work closely with Centric’s business unit leads and industry vertical leads daily in support of client pursuit and delivery activities.
The primary objective of this role is to consistently grow Centric’s revenue in Teams Services.
In this role, you will: Have a heavier focus on billable work.
Support marketing activities, such as developing website content, writing blogs and whitepapers.
Map out the Teams Services growth strategy and plan.
Cultivate and mature the Teams Services team.
Participate in staffing plans, recruiting, and hiring and other EC leadership planning.
Define industry-aligned offerings and sales training.
Educate Centric colleagues who are engaged in business development on how to sell the capability.
Engage with Centric’s local leads to sell work.
Serve as Delivery Excellence lead on EC projects to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Identify, establish, and grow key vendor and consulting partnerships.
A successful candidate will have the following characteristics: 3 years of Teams Services delivery experience.
10 years in consulting role.
5 years of consulting experience with Microsoft 365/Office 365.
Demonstrated experience building a Teams Services practice.
Strong executive communication and sales presence.
Demonstrated ability to sell $100k Teams Services engagements.
Experienced in client delivery and communications.
Demonstrates awareness of the importance of feedback and coaching.
Holds others accountable for high standards of performance.
Comfortable with crucial conversations.
Excellent at listening for potential problem areas.
Managing the Team: 2-3 consultants at start up.
Projected 5-7 individuals by EOY2022 Experience integrating offshore resources is highly desired.
Technical Experience: 5 years of consulting experience with Microsoft 365/Office 365.
3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams
– administering, deploying, guiding, building, advising, securing, integrating with other applications, etc.
Experience leading support for the full Microsoft 365 platform
– including all capabilities, security and compliance, and administration.
Working knowledge of cloud management solutions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Voice technologies is desired.
Experience with Microsoft funding programs is highly desired.
Experience leading and/or working with Microsoft FastTrack engagements is desired.
Has already attained MS-700 Certification or is willing to attain it within the first six months of employment.
