Team Manager

National Life Group

This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted December 15, 2021.

Summary

The right experienced sales leader will have the opportunity to lead a growing team of talented team members, with expertise in case design and agent consultation. This leader will work closely with both internal and external partners to provide strategies, plans, and solutions that help grow business and collaborate with Sales Desk leadership to align, develop and execute on team goals within the context of the overall organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Drives execution of team operational goals (e.g.

    SLA’s, goals, expectations, etc.) by planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and managing resources to deliver seamless service excellence and customer intimacy with urgency, quality and caring curiosity.

  • Clearly sets team and individual goals, coaches for performance and continuous development, evaluates performance and transparently drives change (e.g.

    communication, alignment to strategy, etc.) to build a highly skilled, agile, and high performing team.

  • Partners with Sales Desk management team to implement, manage, and continually improve processes, polices and operating procedures within area to efficiently and effectively deliver high quality service to customers.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to improve customer experience by analyzing data trends (e.g.

    complaints, usage, etc.), and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to implement processes to enhance customer’s business and facilitate seamless service excellence. 

  • Provides data (e.g.

    reports, SLA’s, efficiencies, cost, etc.) and makes recommendations to leadership on ways to drive cost reduction and control operational expenses.

  • Perform other duties as required/ assigned by manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5-10 years industry experience
  • Experience in Life insurance & Annuities insurance
  • Industry designations preferred ( FLMI, CLU, ChFC, CFP)
  • Sales experience and knowledge of distribution channels
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage various projects at one time and meet a variety of deadlines
  • Superior written and oral communication skills required
  • Ability to influence and lead people to act
  • The ability and desire to work in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills; seeks process improvements

  • Up to 10% travel required
