RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce’s client, a National CPA firm in NYC is seeking a Tax Manager focused on High Net Worth.
Summary: As a Global Private Client Service Tax Manager involved in both compliance and consulting on a variety of projects, strong technical and communication skills are vital to this role.
Tax consulting includes performing tax research and working with clients on tax matters as well as planning and implementing special projects.
The Tax Manager is responsible for the compliance function for clients including supervising the preparation and technical review of estate, gift, trust, and personal income tax returns.
Your role will include identifying and implementing tax planning and consulting opportunities, preparation and review of client tax projections and calculations, management of client tax relationships and supervising and developing staff.
Duties Include: Tax Manager will manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements as well as serve as an advisor to the client Identify and assist with implementation of tax planning and tax savings strategies Research and consult on complex tax matters Tax Manager will work closely with partners, managers, and staff to integrate efficient standard operating procedures and practice development skills using a team approach to client service Work with staff assignments and scheduling and meet client and government This firm offers opportunity for advancement with a competitive compensation package including bonus Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: BS in Accounting required, Master’s in Taxation or LLM is a plus Active CPA license required Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in tax in public accounting or corporate/public blend with High Net Worth Individual Tax experience including working with individuals, trusts, estates, and gift tax Proven engagement and staff management skills Ability to manage and grow strong client relationships Possess effective writing, communication, and tax research skills Experience with international tax a plus Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
