System Integrator 1 (Project Management)

ECS is seeking a System Integrator 1 (Project Management) to work in our office in Washington, D.C. or REMOTELY.

Job Description:

• Works closely with Microsoft Account Delivery Executive as the Microsoft advocate and sole or shared technical lead to guide customers as they re-imagine and document their end-to-end transformation journey in line with the current capabilities and future directions of Microsoft products.
• Analyzes management and business processes for the client.
• Leads project team in establishing project plans and provides technical review/oversight specific to discipline
• Responsible for performing complex or non-routine technical tasks or for supervision and oversight of a small group working on technical issues or specific elements of a project.
• Provides technical presentations at project and public meetings
• Translates business requirements into technical, functional requirements
• Provides technical support to ensure the ongoing efficient and reliable operations information systems.
• Proactively develops and maintains strong knowledge of information systems and their related components, and makes recommendations to improve the reliability, scalability, performance, or security of these systems as appropriate. Leverages technology to automate manual tasks and seeks to improve efficiency wherever practicable and appropriate. Makes recommendations for process improvements.
• Play a central role in the development and delivery of an integrated transformation strategy
• Accountable for meeting assigned project objectives including timelines and budgeting. Projects may be of moderate to advanced complexity.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Five to twenty years demonstrated performance in related technology. Five of which must be specialized in topics such as complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation. Microsoft will have formally trained this individual in one or more of the following areas: Microsoft Solutions Framework, product futures, and relevant Certified Training associated with Microsoft’s products.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in IT and in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise (e.g., SharePoint 2013/2016, SharePoint On-line (SPO).
• Experienced with presentation applications and tools such as Microsoft Office suite, (preferably Office 2016 and/or Office 365) PowerPoint, MS Project.
