Be a part of Swift Transportation.Job Responsibilities: What you will doProvide support and guidance to Compliance/Safety personnel and ensure compliance with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations regarding Driver Qualification files, and Hazardous Material Transportation.Lead personnel and perform supervisory duties including but not limited to, all hiring and separation practices, disciplinary actions, performance objectives, further training, growth and development initiatives and overall efficiency and productivity of the group.Monitor and review employee performance to ensure driver pre-hire and post hire files are in compliance with DOT and Swift hiring policies and procedures.Lead the day to day operations of all required regulated portions of driver files.Manage all maintenance aspects of on-going Driver Qualification (DQ) files ensuring all documentation is scanned appropriately.Administer safety related portion of the driver return to work (RTW) process and ensure appropriate qualification and completion of RTW physicals.Counsel individual employees by identifying learning requirements, designing individual training or development programs and coaching to improve performance.Complete quality audits of internal Safety Auditors’ work and take immediate action to correct any deficiencies.

Administer disciplinary action as necessary.Assist in the leadership of company driver hiring criteria.
