After successfully entering and sustaining their presence in the Dallas and Austin markets, Sushi Zushi is moving forward in expanding throughout the state of Texas and beyond.Sushi Zushi is seeking an experienced General Manager for our locations in Austin, TX, to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the local business unit.

General Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies.

Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive.Job Duties:Establishes local restaurant marketing plan and implements plan using restaurant resources and marketing budget.Manages restaurant’s Profit & Loss to optimize profit, control cost of goods, labor, comps and controllable.Maintains a safe & healthy environment by establishing and enforcing sanitation standards & procedures.Controls inventory by establishes par levels for supplies and equipment; monitors and maintains proper inventory levels; authorizes purchase orders for supplies and equipment within budget.Works closely with the Facilities Team to ensure that everything within the Restaurant is working properly and communicates any concerns immediately.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Ability to use MS Office to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Five to Seven years related experienceDemonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinatesCommitment to excellence and high standardsExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to manage priorities and workflowWhy Work for Sushi Zushi?We may be small, but we think BIG, act BIG, and compete BIG.
