Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, y ou will be a key decision maker regarding key system applications used by the Purchasing and Supply Chain teams, you will be expected to make recommendations to business leaders regarding the usage certain supply chain applications and ensure that best practices are being followed, you will be expected to make recommendations on new metrics and reports for the Supply Chain teams.
This position will initiate, facilitate, and implement Supply Chain projects.
The individual will give follow-up support to system users
– both internal and external in various applications.
AS A SUPPLY CHAIN SYSTEMS LEAD/ MANAGER, YOU WILL:
– Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Materials Management leaders to fully understand the Business process requirements and concerns of the day-to-day operations.
– Work with Oracle Procurement Support Team to identify the Oracle system’s capabilities and limitations within the Procure-To-Pay arena; drive enhancements and process improvements with the same team.
– Liaison between users and system developers to ensure the business requirements are fully understood so that standard system activity and processes can be setup to achieve business goals and objectives; may require redesigning existing process to fit the system footprint.
– Interact with senior business leaders across various departments and be prepared to present to those leaders as needed.
– Lead strategic projects while driving the assigned tasks to completion and track project deliverables.
– Work towards metric standardization for the Procurement and Supply Chain organizations.
– Drive the Supplier Master Data Management activity and lead others in support of accurate data management.
– Liaise with Emerson Corporate group on the Engage project as well as other future collaborations.
– Facilitate the development of new business processes including, but not limited to: supplier communications, data standards initiatives, supply chain improvement projects, etc.
– Design new process diagrams as required to fit newly proposed processes.
