We are hiring a Supply Chain Manager in Chicago.

Reporting to the Supply Operations Director, you lead the growth and continuous improvement of our US additive manufacturing network (FDM, SLS, SLA, MJF).

This position’s success lies in engaging our network of Manufacturing Partners, driving their performance, and developing the capabilities we need to support our customers.

What it takes:

• Strategically plan the network development (capacity/capabilities) in line with commercial inputs
• Monitor and proactively drive supplier performance: On-Time shipping / Quality targets,
• Develop suppliers: identify and deploy manufacturing best practices to ensure printing consistency across the network
• Develop new capabilities (technologies, materials, post-processing options,…), Plan and secure production capacity to support our business growth
• Hand-in-hand with our sourcing team, enable the closure of large business opportunities
• Design processes to manage our supplier relationships and performance in a scalable way
• Set suppliers up for success on our online sourcing platform by educating them and building relationships

What you’ll do:

• Experience in Vendor Management, Procurement or Contract Manufacturing
• An analytical mindset and data-driven approach to supplier management
• Commercial acumen
  – Have a deep interest in building knowledge and developing networks within our industry
• Communication skills to build strong relationships with new and existing suppliers

Nice to haves 

• Previous experience in Additive Manufacturing technologies, ideally in a Production or Quality role
• You have previous experience in technical sales (Aerospace, O&G, special machinery, MRO,…)
