Supply Chain Manager

This is a Contract position in Succasunna, NJ posted February 14, 2022.
- Permanent position for a Supply Chain Manager for the daily supervision of Customer Service, Purchasing and Production Planning personnel.
- Lead role in development and implementation of business processes, identifying areas for improvement (utilizing ERP or other software as available).
- Interface throughout the organization as necessary to achieve results and meet operational objectives.
- Responsible for Supplier Performance, including all sourcing activities, selection, cost reductions, quality and on-time delivery.
- Drive materials / business process performance improvements, including inventory turns, supplier cost / quality & delivery performances, schedule attainment, customer order entry, on-time shipments, Kanban setups and Inventory agreements.
- Monitor ERP functionality with regard to Materials & Customer Service to ensure data accuracy.
- Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain or related.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with supply chain management.
- Experience managing Purchasing, Inventory Control, Production Control, Master Scheduling functions (including sales & operations planning) using integrated ERP systems.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
- Experience with Import/Export and ITAR regulations.
- Professional certifications are a plus.
- Excellent organizational, both written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
