Currently, we are looking for a Supervisor, Implementation to join the ABF Freight team. The Supervisor, Implementation supervises and serves as the point of contact for the introduction of Flash software and hardware. This position oversees the rollout of new programs and technology into service centers. The Supervisor, Implementation will also assist in improving processes related to operations metrics within the framework of service center goals and objectives.
Your contribution may include:
* Guide service center leadership on proper implementation of Flash systems, software, and hardware.
* Monitor and analyze the service centers effective usage of newly implemented technologies.
* Support Service Center management in training and usage of hardware and software.
* Provide guidance and support for service centers not meeting expectations with compliance-related metrics.
* Travel to Service Centers to evaluate operational practices related to Flash systems and educate management and employees, as needed.
* Collaborate with programmers and developers to identify issues and recommend software improvements.
* Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
* Promote and work within a team environment to accomplish departmental and company goals.
* Other duties and projects, as assigned.
As the Supervisor, Implementation, you will be a member of the ABF Freight Innovative Operations team. Your work hours will vary based on scheduling to provide system coverage during normal business hours including nights, weekends, and travel time. Ready to apply? Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience: Minimum, one year experience in freight/dock operations, preferred. Experience with Flash, preferred. Prior supervisory experience, preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Other Requirements: Understanding of the LTL industry and the ABF Freight system. Knowledge of dock and city operations, linehaul and office procedures, labor management, cargo claims and prevention procedures.
