Part of the Corporate Strategy, the Strategic Intelligence team is a central global function at Schneider Electric, which helps to shape the global strategy of Schneider Electric and focuses mainly on benchmark analysis, competition profiling and market trends.
Key deliverables of the function include:
Quarterly Competitor Benchmark: analysis of results & announcements of listed competitors of Schneider Electric across a broad range of metrics and comparison with Schneider Electric’s performance
Transversal studies looking at common themes across competitors and how those may impact / disrupt Schneider Electric
Annual Market Report: insights on market size and market shares on specific businesses and/or geographies to support operational decisions
Business Intelligence
Identify, collect, analyze and synthesize all relevant information (macroeconomic, market, competition, field information …)
Identify weak signals of the competitive environment, opportunity & threat to Schneider Electric, follow key market evolution
Manage and deliver studies & synthesis
Deliver competitive environment studies: collection, analysis, synthesis and communication of strategic information & indicators related to competitors/ propose actions (Competition profiling)
Prepare “Executive level” synthesis about general economic environment, competitive moves…
Strategic Intelligence practices & interactions
Coach & train Strategic Intelligence Analysts in the team
Interact with Business & Countries Strategy Teams
Interact with Top Management (Excom members)
Contribute to the Strategic Intelligence global community, share & promote/implement good practices
Contribute to building the knowledge management database and tools.

This job might be for you if:
Education: Bachelor degree from an Engineering or Business school; MBA not required.
Experience: 2 to 5 years professional experience with a background in Finance, Strategy, Consulting or Investment Banking
Specific Knowledge / Skills
Good level of English is mandatory
Strong finance knowledge
Master Internet search & marketing tools, MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint …
), SQL & Tableau knowledge is a plus
Excellent business acumen and business judgment
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms and an ability to effectively communicate with Top management.
