The Strategic Alliances Director , Microsoft will be responsible for managing and developing our go-to-market strategy with our key strategic partner, Microsoft.
The role will involve developing and executing plans and initiatives to drive new sourced pipeline through our Microsoft partnership.
This individual will coordinate with our product organization to understand our current integration approach with Microsoft and to align on future development roadmap.
This role will report to the RVP Strategic Alliances, NA but will work cross functionality with the NA sales, marketing, product and customer success teams.

What you will be doing:
Supporting regional revenue targets through sourcing and influencing deals with Microsoft
Developing and executing NA plans with the Microsoft partnership team and ensure these plans support our mutual goals
Coordinating with the wider Microsoft aligned partner team to ensure their initiatives and activities with Microsoft are globally aligned
Understand and execute against all the defined Go-To-Market models to engage with the Microsoft field team and utilize these models to drive new revenue opportunities
Grow and maintain excellent relationships with Microsoft at all levels on the organization
Work with Microsoft to develop a joint offerings and go-to-market initiatives aligned to the key Microsoft sales plays
Ensure our sales team is fully up to date on the latest Microsoft offers and incentives that Seismic supports
Maintain joint business plans and establish clear mutual commitments around co-marketing, integration development, training, lead generation and sales alignment and review regularly to maintain engagement
Support Seismic’s Top Tier partnership status with Microsoft by alignment and delivery against the key Microsoft partnership goals
Lead regularly pipeline reviews with partners to ensure accuracy and progression.
Conduct regular reviews to identify best practices and refine activities moving forward
Coordinate with our Product team to understand and develop the roadmap for future Microsoft integrations
Educate Seismic Sales and customer success teams on our Microsoft partnership and the value to our customers and prospects
Coordinate with the Microsoft Customer Success & Sales team to understand the status of Microsoft as a key Seismic customer and future sales opportunities
Evangelizing Seismic’s solution across Microsoft teams including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing and Product Management to support our partners in achieving our jointly agreed goals and objectives
Effective collaboration with the wider NA sales team and Global Strategic Alliances team to proactively accelerate revenue generation via partner relationships.
Drive tactical partner field interaction and deal execution.
What you bring to the team:
7+ years sales or GTM experience
5+ years partner management experience working with Microsoft
5+ years software industry experience
Location: USA: Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, New York or Chicago preferred
Bachelor ’s degree or equivalent work experience
Team player with experience working with a direct sales team in a collaborative, co-sell environment.
Can-do attitude towards supporting teammates, colleagues and partners to solve problems
Experience working with ISV partners to identify and develop joint solutions and manage the go-to-market activities to support those solutions
Creative approach to identifying solutions for partners and clients/prospects
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Work cross functionally to support channel marketing programs, partner certifications and training, partner solution development, etc.
