Station Supervisor

Commodity Forwarders Inc.

looking for a full-time Station Supervisor to fill a position within our Warehouse department.

This is a salary exempt position with an annual salary between $85,000 and $95,000 depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently handling various responsibilities with competing priorities as well as excellent customer service.

Must demonstrate professional manners and effective communication when interacting with fellow employees and customers.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Prioritize the workflow for cargo movements to insure customer and vendor satisfaction.

+ Process claim paperwork timely and accurately with carriers for all airfreight claims.

+ Make sure the employees approach each file and customer as an opportunity to exceed expectations and build customer confidence.

+ Make sure all work completed meets Commodity Forwarders quality standards.

+ Department are staffed properly to cover required hours at all times.

+ Make sure all freight forwarding activities abide by all government laws and regulations at origin and destination.

+ Make sure all necessary reports and records are complete, timely, and accurate.

+ Insure the timely movement of cargo from origin to destination to fulfill customer’s instructions and insure procedures for taking bookings are followed at all times.

+ Make sure all import files provided to the warehouse are complete.

+ Process claim paperwork timely and accurately with carriers.

+ Complete tasks requested from each station in a timely and accurate manner.

+ Make sure the off-hours employees always have a contact to handle complex issues and make decisions.

+ Be responsive to other stations or other department needs.

+Encourage and facilitate communication and team concepts of mutual support and communication.

+ Maximize employee productivity and efficiency.

+ Develop an effective employee recruiting programs

+ Enforce compliance to all policies, regulations and procedures

+ Constantly analyze and improve department processes

Education and Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Eligible to work in the US and pass TSA background check

+ 1-2 years recent experience management

+ 1 year experience sales experience in Logistics
