Specialist
– Project Management in Knoxville, TN by Bluegreen Vacations
The Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting various functions of the Program Development department, with a focus on implementation and project management of new programs, owner benefits, client on-boarding, sales office openings, and the addition of new resorts or inventory.
This position may assist other teams within the department including Client Management, Business Services, and Inventory Management.
Responsibilities:
• Creates and manages implementation project plans to meet target timelines.
• Communicates project statuses and coordinates the flow of deliverables internally and externally.
• Contributes to the research and development of new programs and strategies as defined through company and department goals.
• Utilizes project management skills to implement new programs/clients or changes.
• Understands the terms of client/vendor agreements to properly manage transactions and expected results.
• Assists with client inquiries, issues and resolution of issues, across multiple departments.
• Documents tasks and processes for training, implementation or handoff to new business owner.
• Prepares presentations summarizing results and/or client/project information.
• Runs queries, pulls data, and performs data analysis, as requested.
• Provides cross-functional support to other department team members.
• Assists in the ongoing development of the department.
Requirements:
• Bachelors’ Degree in a related discipline
• Three years of related experience and a proven track record with project management, inter departmental communication / collaboration, marketing, or client support/management in the Vacation Ownership, Real Estate, Travel Club, Hospitality or comparable industries.
• Excellent client management, project management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must enjoy a constant challenge in a fast-paced work environment, be focused on the bottom line, and able to react quickly to changing market conditions and external needs.
• Must have strong computer skills and technical aptitude to compliment a strategic outlook to any project.
• Able to effectively zoom-in and zoom-out – high level focus on the bigger picture while getting in the details to ensure flawless execution
• Highly proficient with developing clear, visually appealing presentations in PowerPoint and/or other presentation tools
