This team is a “messenger of the market” to the rest of the CSG organization, identifying the best market segments and opportunities for success offers. We maintain a multi-year roadmap for our portfolio, develop research-backed business cases for offer development and positioning, and manage the entire portfolio from design to end of life. We adhere to a governance framework to effectively manage and coordinate cross-functional work. Once offers are launched, we measure offer performance and identify changes to improve the experience customers and Salesforce employees have with our offers.**Role Description**This individual plans and executes programs to deliver on business goals. The Program Manager is responsible for creating a common purpose across functions that aligns with organizational strategy, and integrating the efforts of cross-functional teams to successfully deliver against program objectives. Responsibilities include:+ Translate strategy and business goals into specific program objectives+ Develop a program plan and budget to deliver on those objectives+ Manage program execution, identify risk, and develop and execute against risk mitigation strategies+ Act as the communications conduit with executive sponsors and steering committees; conduct briefings and deliver executive status updates+ Ensure final program deliverable alignment with business goals**Your Impact**Successful Program Managers manage their programs top-down to deliver program objectives in alignment with organizational strategy and business goals. Expected contributions include:+ Define measurable program objectives that have a clear connection to business goals+ Establish measures of success to ensure program deliverables produce the intended outcomes+ Consistently manage and synchronize cross-project dependencies+ Efficient execution of program operational management tasks+ Serve as a trusted advisor to sponsor and steering committee+ Develop and maintain deep program content knowledge knowledge**Minimum Requirements:**+ Bachelor’s degree+ 7+ years experience in cross-functional program management, preferably in a matrix organization+ Experience defining program objectives and plans in response to business needs+ Demonstrated ability to make use of relevant program knowledge to question deliverable quality and alignment to intended business outcomes+ Strong organizational leadership and stakeholder management skills+ Ability to balance broad integration of program work streams with low-enough level of detail to effectively manage cross-functional execution and interdependencies.+ Demonstrated success with anticipating risks and proactively developing-and executing against-risk mitigation strategies**Preferred Requirements**+ M.B.A.+ Experience as a Program Manager within a product management organization+ Scrum master certification (CSM), PMI or PrMI certification_Equality is a core value at Salesforce.
