nn nn You will be the owner of our Item Catalog, which spans over 80,000 products we offer our customers.

As its owner, you will play a critical role in enabling the success of all stakeholders of our business – from customers to sales representatives to supply chain managers, who utilize detailed item information for decisioning.

You will be responsible for developing our data enhancement and integrity strategy, standing up a team to drive successful execution, and collaborate with a number of teams within the company including IT, Purchasing, Warehouse and Sales.

We believe our product data is a differentiator this individual will help translate to tangible financial outcomes.

nn nResponsibilitiesn Synthesizing needs of all key stakeholders into a targeted workplan for data enhancements Stand up a team of data analysts, copy-editors and photographers as needed, and project manage across their workstreams Establish rules and guidelines (including taxonomy) for various data fields (including item descriptions, key characteristics, etc.) to ensure our data is well structured and has all the critical information for decisioning Determine national data controls and standards (permissions to edit, QA process) to ensure data integrity is continuously reinforced Understand industry standards and best practices that should inform how we can differentiate and offer best-in-class data and information Partner with our vendors to ensure we have consistently updated and relevant product information Partner with front-end developers and UI/UX resources to ensure product data is displayed effectively on all web portals Track and communicate progress effectively with a cross-functional steering committee of senior leaders nQualificationsn Bachelor’s Degree in related field 5+ years of relative working experience in a high-volume skews’ environment 5+ years of taxonomy for various data fields  Excellent project management skills and experience in creating project plans Expert level proficiency with Excel 2+ years’ experience in eCommerce content development for marketplaces and/or dotcom sites preferred but not required Experience or familiarity with web scraping tools a plus You are a data driven wizard.

You enjoy developing enhancements while keeping data integrity, communicating effectively across all stakeholders.
