Our client, Auburn FilterSense, is seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Sr.

Operations Manager with exceptional team building skills to oversee operations and help drive sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate will be motivated by being part of a truly innovative company that is a global leader in developing sensors, controls and software that enhance operational efficiency and help ensure EPA compliance of air pollution control systems, powder processing filters and industrial dust collection systems.

Acquired by Nederman Group in 2018, Auburn FilterSense solutions prevent hazardous particulate emissions from process industries such as power, cement, and steel; improve filtration efficiency in the powder processing industries including pharmaceutical, food, and chemical and improve operations around the capture and control of dust and fumes generated in the workplace of discrete manufacturing industries such as automotive, woodworking, welding, and others.

About the role

As Sr.

Operations Manager you will report directly to the Managing Director/CEO and oversee the management team and execution of the business.

The candidate we are looking for will bring his/her robust experience in operating a modern plant along with passion for team building and operational excellence that drive bottom line results.

The Sr.

Operations Manager will facilitate and direct the continuous improvement of operational performance as it relates to profitability, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, cost controls, people development and culture.

In other words: you are expected to ensure that business is run efficiently, projects are executed with careful attention to detail, managers are focused on the strategy and their teams are motivated and productive.

Responsibilities are wide requiring knowledge of various departments including manufacturing, engineering, product management, sales and administration.

Experience in a technical manufacturing business is preferred.

As a smaller division within a larger organization hands-on contribution is an essential part of the role.

You need to be comfortable wearing many different hats since responsibilities are broad and require a good understanding of every department from manufacturing and engineering of technical products, quality, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, to environmental health and safety.

Main responsibilities:
Work closely with the Managing Director/CEO to understand the company’s position in the market, strategy, performance goals, existing strengths, and areas for improvement Help develop plans, metrics and approaches to optimize company’s business success and growth Plan and monitor day-to-day operations and report on monthly performance Revise and establish policies and SOPs that control execution and promote company culture and vision Lead and drive continuous improvement and operational excellence Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics with the goal of building high performing teams Ensure a safe work environment by meeting and exceeding environmental, health, and safety requirements and goals.

What We Expect from You:

Your Work Experience & Education
BS/BA Degree, MBA preferred 8+ years of experience in an equivalent position or well proven related experience Experience in a technical manufacturing business is preferred Highly proficient in devising structure for different operational activities and projects Skilled at applying frameworks and methodologies to project management using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban, Lean etc.

Experience with project management software such as Wrike or similar Proficient in ERP/MRP/CRM implementation and operation In-depth understanding of business functions and principles and experience in developing and implementing business strategies, budgets, projects to optimize organizational success Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-geography, international company
