Join our growing company and help shape the future at Omnicell Senior Director, Product Marketing – Omnicell One, Cloud Platform & Innovation The Senior Director of Product Marketing for Omnicell One, Cloud Platform & Innovation will build, develop, and inspire a dedicated and experienced team that successfully partners with sales, product, engineering and the broader marketing team to create clear, compelling, inspirational stories and assets, shared with customers and employees.
The success of this role will be measured in terms of ability to develop and deliver visionary and practical product messaging, packaging, pricing, and tools that drive revenue.
This is a key leadership role reporting to the Head of Product Marketing.
Omnicell One is part of Omnicell’s Inteligence Solutions consisting of data analytics, SaaS workflow and Advisory Services to drive visibility, insights and action within the medication management process.
Omnicell’s intelligence solutions focus on Inventory Management and Diversion Prevention.
Omnicell has also embarked on a key initiative to launch a unified cloud data platform to accelerate the execution of the autonomous pharmacy vision, while minimizing the total cost of ownership.
This role will be instrumental in defining the go-to-market strategy for the successful launch and scaling of Omnicell’s unified cloud data platform, an effort requiring a great deal of change management within both the market and legacy solutions, driving cloud adoption within healthcare.
This role will also partner closely with the Product & Engineering teams to bring new breakthrough Innovations to life.
You will be asked to focus on developing a much deeper understanding of our customers, their workflows, pain points and execute the go-to-market strategies to bring new concepts swiftly to market with appropriate alignment within the Autonomous Pharmacy portfolio.
All three solutions are key components of Omnicell’s transition to XaaS business models, requiring a great deal of leadership during the transition of the company and our customers expectations.
As a leader of the marketing team, you will partner with cross functional leadership across sales, product management, finance and IT to set and execute on go-to-market strategies for the portfolio of solutions in Omnicell.
In a single day you may focus on the big picture strategy with the executive team and then pivot to detailed content reviews to support your team.
You will have deep experience in understanding and articulating customer-centric and market-based requirements to inform product and demand generation strategies.
You will be a key partner to the product and sales team: sharing customer success stories and insights to the field to support a value-based solution-selling model.
We measure our success by our ability to develop the marketing strategies / programs and deliver the assets that fuel the business, grow Healthcare and Pharmacy mindshare, and strengthen our position as the Autonomous Pharmacy leader.
Responsibilities: Strategy set Omnicell’s go-to-market priorities for Omnicell One in partnership with executive leadership based on market intelligence, business performance, and corporate priorities and resources Market intelligence understand market opportunity and segments, buyer personas and buying criteria, win/loss analysis and competitive intelligence to inform product and go-to-market strategies Value Proposition clearly communicate Omnicell’s unique value proposition through messaging frameworks, customer facing collateral and sales tools Pricing, naming and packaging create pricing frameworks and align product pricing, packaging and naming.
Pricing execution will be in partnership with the Sr.
Director of Pricing.
Demand generation support develop strategy, messaging, and tools to support the demand generation teams (marketing and sales/business development) worldwide in generating revenue Customer lifetime value
– set strategies to increase net revenue and customer profitability in partnership with product, customer success, professional services, and the broader marketing team Advocacy
– build a community of advocates within the customer base and across the industry in partnership with customer success, product, the broader marketing team and industry leaders Launches plan and lead the launch of new products and services across key functional teams to meet business objectives Channel empowerment
– deliver customer-facing content and experiences that leverage Showpad technologies to drive revenue; support the sales enablement team with clear strategies, messaging, and tools to improve sales and partner productivity and value Spokesperson elevate Omnicell’s brand by speaking at industry events, press interviews, and analyst inquiries and by authoring thought leadership pieces Team
– recruit, develop, and inspire a cohesive team of high performing product marketers, local and remote, across multiple time zones and cultures Leadership work cross-organizationally to partner and influence strategic alignment to directly impact company direction and sales success Required Knowledge and Skills: Dynamic, bold personality with ability to successfully drive projects with limited guidance amidst multiple shifting priorities and goals Proven creative thinker that generates and executes on innovative marketing ideas with strong orientation to data-driven, analytical decision making Proven track record in crafting compelling brand and product positioning via multiple mediums (slides, eBooks, email / comms, etc.) Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets (incl viral on-message product demo videos, sharp and succinct slide pitch-decks, and demos) Expert marketing skills resulting in transformational sales performance An authentic leader that can both inspire and empower staff, while gaining the respect and buy-in from cross-functional partners Strong skills in communication, writing and ability to work well cross-functionally Thrive in fast-paced environments, are flexible and able to adapt to changing scenarios; someone who sets strategy and rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done.
