This leader will help scope, plan, design and will be responsible for developing and integrating marketing technologies and eCommerce capabilities to enable digital customer solution for global and local markets.

The Head of Global Digital Product Dev plays a critical role in driving large digital transformation programs to create best in class, digital experiences to drive customer engagement across all touchpoints.

This leader will support business goals by leading and developing a team of digital product managers, software engineers and developers to execute customer digital product and experiences.This is a highly visible role on the leadership team of the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence, the new centralized corporate Digital Marketing and eCommerce team overseeing the strategies of all Operating Companies in the Envista portfolio.

This Head of Digital Product Development will have the opportunity to create their own Digital Product Development team working directly with eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Product Management, and IT partners.

In this multi-faceted role, the ideal candidate we must be results-oriented, capable of executing plans despite challenges.

Cross-functional collaboration is a must.

This Head of Digital Product Development will report directly into the Global VP of Marketing and Digital Transformation.+ Oversee the entire Global portfolio of Envista including all the various Operating Companies’ web presence in all regions and languages (currently in North America, Latin America, EMEA, APAC).

Lead website technology and infrastructure roadmap to support all the various operating companies (Nobel BioCare, Kerr, Ormco, Implant Direct, Sparks Aligners, etc.) Versatility in B2B,B2C, D2C growth strategies and align with industry best practices.+ Responsible for the oversight and management of the entire eCommerce development team and ultimately responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all eCommerce and Brand websites, web applications and web related product applications while ensuring strong optimization, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility and functionality.+ Direct full service Development Operations from technical development, design to ongoing performance and optimization.+ Direct web data strategy, including implementation of a Product Information Management (PIM) system, DAM (Digital Asset Management)+ Guide major technology implementations, such as a Digital Experience Platform (DXP), by balancing the right in-house and out-sourced staffing to expedite time to market and optimal configurations+ Partnering with business marketers and IT development teams to develop processes and solutions within the marketing automation platforms.+ Provide technology and architecture leadership across the eComm and Digital Marketing landscape, evaluate and benchmark new application frameworks, platforms and technologies, architect the future state and the roadmap.+ Define the software development standards and best practices for agile, secure, scalable, highly performant, and supportable applications.+ Recognize strengths and weaknesses in the system architecture.

Anticipate vulnerabilities and orchestrate contingency plans.**Job Requirements:****Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:**+ BS/BA degree required, preferably in computer science, software engineering, or related field+ Minimum +10 years of experience driving Digital Product Development and leading a dev team with a focus on eCommerce and Digital experiences at mid to large corporations+ Extensive knowledge of e-Commerce/Digital Marketing technology is required+ Must have hands-on architect level of knowledge and experience with Magento Commerce and/or major digital experience platform+ Knowledge of both current and legacy IT architectures, tools, and services including but not limited to: public cloud computing; serverless computing; ETL and data management techniques; progressive web app techniques; headless applications and APIs.+ Experience with best practices in software delivery including DevOps, Agile/Scrum methods, CI, automated functional and performance testing, and the tools that support these processes.

Strong background in large-scale software development in one or more programming languages.

API integration, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, SQL Basics.+ Familiarity with project management governance skills including providing project sequencing recommendations and overall project status updates.

Strong understanding of Jira or Atlassian Product Suite, or other project management tools.+ Keen understanding of financial control and budget management+ Expertise in working in in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture**COMPETENCIES
