CCI is growing rapidly and seeking to hire an experienced Sr.
Consultant, Supply Chain to provide consulting expertise and capability development to clients in their implementation of TRACC products at a site level .
This requires the Senior Consultant, Supply Chain to possess a deep understanding of the TRACC tools and materials and to use this knowledge to work with the client and project leaders to formulate and implement plans and strategies for effective TRACC implementation and the delivery of transformational results.
During execution of this plan, the Sr.
Consultant, Supply Chain will coach and mentor client teams to take ownership of their TRACC implementation.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain for North America with further reporting responsibilities to the Project Manager and additional responsibilities to the Key Account Managers of the clients involved.
This is a remote/home based position that requires frequent travel to client sites within North America and potentially abroad.
ROLE DESCRIPTION Lead client assessment of TRACC Supply Chain Best Practices and performance Assist clients in devising their Supply Chain Improvement Strategy Guide clients in creating action plans to close the gaps identified while assessing their Supply Chain areas Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives by proactively assessing customer needs on an ongoing basis, and formulating action plans where required Lead project teams of both CCI and client personnel in the implementation of improvement methodologies (DMAIC, Lean tools, etc.) to deliver quick wins for clients Lead the implementation of Daily Management Systems (DMS) (Tier structures with routine meetings, visual boards, problem solving) Deliver Best Practice related training at strategic as well as line managements levels Deliver related training and assess clients’ resources readiness and capabilities Coach and mentor client teams and CCI consultants to take on more expanded roles Gather and track information of key account metrics, and report on client performance to the Key Account Manager Ensure that personal administrative responsibilities (timesheets, expenses, etc.) are done correctly and timely Able to implement foundational TRACC Practices such as Teamwork, Visual Management, Focused Improvement, 5S, Leading and Managing Change and Core TRACC Practices such as Environmental Health & Safety, Demand Planning, S&OP, Value Chain and other Supply Chain related practices.
Stay up to date with TRACC material, continually reading the material to ensure knowledge of the TRACC material and its implementation Contribute to CCI knowledge base by reviewing current CCI material and submitting improvement suggestions and assisting with product development when required GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor degree in a Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain related field is required, while an MBA is preferred.
6 years’ experience in consulting and/or Supply Chain operations, with Continuous Improvement experience Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Experience with use of structured problem-solving tools with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Change management and coaching skills Experienced Trainer and Facilitator, ideally accredited as a TRACC Master Trainer and Master Facilitator Excellent verbal and written communications skills Excellent listening and presentation skills Proficiency working with Microsoft Office suite Willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones and implementation deadline Domestic travel up to 80% of the time and possible travel abroad when needed
