Reporting to the Director, US Benefits & Wellness, the Sr.

Benefits Program Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of various PayPal employee Time Off and Leave of Absence programs.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as an expert on PayPal Americas Time Off and Leave programs, identifying opportunities for program improvement, operational efficiency and strategic enhancements.

    Drive change through effective program management, while driving employee engagement and delivering effective Benefit communications.

  • With a primary focus on US leaves, manage administration of programs including FMLA, short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), Bonding, Family and Personal Leave (including various state-specific leaves}, Adoption and Surrogacy reimbursement programs, and manage the global Sabbatical program and administration.
  • Manage PayPal’s “Family Friendly” programs such as parental coaching, back up child/elder care, and additional support programs and resources for working parents.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and annual compliance reporting, and system set ups for Time Off programs are compliant.
  • Focus on developing robust and compliant leave administration processes in partnership with our Leave of Absence administrator, and in alignment with workplace accommodations, and payroll operations.
  • Serve as primary employee contact for both manager and employee questions and escalations regarding leaves or time off programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on Time Off program management (Employment Counsel, Payroll, HR Managers, Employee Central, Employee Technology and Employee Advocacy).
  • Provide reporting on all Time Off programs for leadership and as part of business unit reviews with stakeholders.
  • Support Merger & Acquisition due diligence and company integrations while delivering an exceptional employee experience
  • Complete surveys, host employee focus groups and conduct benchmarking analysis to ensure PayPal Time Off and Leave programs are aligned with the competitive market.
  • Demonstrate an ability to solve complex problems with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement of the employee experience
     

Essential Functions

  • Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates PayPal’s Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
  • Provides technical benefit subject matter expertise and consultative analytical support in the planning, defining and validating of program-specific philosophy, strategy and approach.
  • Develops, explains and disseminates related communication materials.

    Engages colleagues in group presentations on programs, policies, changes or issues.

  • Leads Time Off related projects or program initiatives by establishing project objectives, timelines, key deliverables, facilitates meetings and deliverables with key stakeholders and provides status updates to leaders.
  • Develops structure and process for benchmarking and comparative analysis.

    Completes and analyzes comparative summaries to identify opportunity and related recommendations.

    Develops protocol for program and process changes.

    Identifies program and process opportunities based on internal and external data.

  • Responsible for development of ongoing reporting of key performance indicators and monitors and identifies opportunities and related recommendations or notifications.
  • Responsible for daily vendor relationships and related service level agreements.
  • Responsible for maintaining plan documents and related documentation of program requirements.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations related to Time Off programs.
