As we take our beer and fitness festival across the country, we seek energetic, passionate and highly motivated talent to join our team.
The Director of Sponsorship Sales is a critical part of our team maximizing revenue growth on local and national levels for 25+ events in 2016 alone.
What You’ll Do
Spearhead the overall sponsorship program and develop the sales capabilities including selling the following:
Naming rights
Exclusive categories
Local activations
In kind partners / marketing partnerships
Maximize the sponsorship value from the series’ growing footprint and competitor database including an expected 50,000 participants in 2016 alone
Prospect, meet and close a significant number of new and renewal high level corporate sponsorships within the local and national event footprint
Be a team leader
Coordinate sponsor activations and marketing delivery through the ops, marketing and leadership team
Serve as the main point of contact for each sponsor
Be the voice and face of Brew Mile to sponsors, clients and the industry at large
What You’ll Need
4+ years sales experience, including 2 years of sponsorship sales, servicing and activation experience preferably within the Entertainment or Sports Industry
Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies and negotiate creative solutions
Strong critical thinker and communicator
Results oriented and deadline driven
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to maintain calm and clear decision making in high pressure situations
Proven ability to prospect, develop leads and close sales
Ability to travel and work in USA
Valid driver’s license required
A passion for events, athletics, beer and good times
A desire to exceed goals and be paid significant commissions
Note
– Compensation includes a mix of base salary and incentives but is heavily commission based.
