Scope The Restaurant Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow to service, ownership of guest satisfaction, controlling operating costs, people leadership, and staff development.

This position reports to the General Manager of SuperFrico Primary Job Duties Assist in selecting, training, evaluating, leading, motivating, and coaching front of the house (FOH) employees to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
Responsible for the implementation of training plans and to ensure they are updated for all FOH employees.
Oversee the organization, efficiency and policies pertaining to service in the dining room including contribution to the development of processes and procedures.
Responsible for communicating daily changes that pertain to the shift (new menu items, price change, etc.) as well as daily employee edits after each shift.
Assists in the processing of payroll, by ensuring all entries are complete and accurate and by submitting completed time records to the Spiegelworld Payroll.
Scheduling shifts and assigning tables to waitstaff.
Conduct inventory or restaurant supplies effectively.
Supervises in terms of cleaning and repairs to the restaurant including performing daily inspections and periodic audits to check safety of equipment.
Be visible in the operation, actively participating in service meetings, and daily operations.
Works on the restaurant floor during dinner hours, the floor comes first before any other duties.
Resolves complaints from guests in a polite, friendly manner.
Ensures the restaurant looks, smells, and feels good (lighting, temperature, bathrooms, cleanliness, and seating arrangements) by doing walk through of all of our spaces at the beginning and the end of each shift.
Assists with duties of other employees (i.E.
server, food runner, etc.) when necessary because of an unexpected absence or extra volume.
Promotes cooperative effort, a team spirit, and good morale among employees.
Prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements Minimum of 4 years working in a high-end bar or restaurant with at least 3 years managing teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
Willingness to work late in the evening and on weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Passionate about guest service and delivering the best guest experience each and every time.
Ability to initiate conversations with others in a polished, professional manner.
Respond to inquiries from fellow employees and/or guests.
Work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
Effectively assist with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring diplomacy, tact, friendliness, poise and firmness.
