Shipping Supervisor Position in Davenport, FL

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Shipping Supervisor in Davenport, FL. As a Shipping Supervisor, you will oversee and supervises warehouse employees and drivers to make sure all items are prepared, shipped, and received on time while complying with company policy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist shipping manager by identifying work procedures and preparing work schedules.
  • Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties and delegated tasks
  • Direct the movement of shipments from shipping points to storage and/or work areas
  • Train, motivate and support team to meet daily requirements
  • Enforces company policies and guidelines

    Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership experience in distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage employees
  • Must have good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills

    2 nd Shift hours: 3:00pm – 12am Monday – Friday
