Shift Supervisor/Plastic Injection Molding

SHIFT SUPERVISOR: JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary and most important skill is the ability to maintain the running of the Injection Molding machines efficiently. Must have some experience in Molding of Plastic Injection Molding. Will be responsible for ensuring Molding jobs keep running efficiently. They will report to the Plant Manager and to the General Manager. The more Technical experience they have and can assist the company in other Technical areas the better, but must at least be able to maintain The Molding efficiently.

Will also oversee and manage plant floor during their shift operations to ensure efficiency, low scrap, cleanliness, organization, continuous improvement, and daily operations are being met. Will be responsible for hanging molds, mixing material, cleaning, taking out the garbage, anything it takes to keep the operation operating effectively and efficiently. They will be in a high level, visible, highly involved, team environment, with a growing, contemporary company.

They will have the strong support of the Quality Team, Production Team, and Machine Maintenance, with strong contemporary systems. Lots of opportunity for upward mobility.

This is a fast paced industry and candidate must be flexible to be able to oversee the plant operations to ensure the plant is operating properly.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
