Senior Vice President of Marketing

This is a Full-time position in Boston, MA posted November 18, 2021.

The Colony Group seeks a motivated and qualified individual for the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing.

The individual selected for this opportunity will lead the firm’s growing marketing team and collaborate with the Chief of Staff and Strategy and others in driving a broad range of initiatives to support The Colony Group and its goals.

While the position is based primarily in the New York, Boston, or Bethesda, MD Metro areas, this individual will be responsible for leading the national marketing team.

Primary responsibilities for this position include:
Work with internal stakeholders and an external branding consultancy to re-imagine The Colony Group brand and potential sub-brands
Communicate the brand message in a differentiated, yet consistent manner across all company offices and marketing channels, including website, social media, brochures, etc.

Develop targeted campaigns and materials to attract and engage prospective clients in key segments, including multifamily office, corporate executives, business owners, institutions, entertainers, and athletes, etc.
Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager and colleagues to grow digital strategy and optimize lead generation and tracking through the pipeline.

Further develop related content strategy and consider expanding paid search campaigns, media partnerships and other tactics
Lead and collaborate with PR Agency on strategy and tactics to enhance brand awareness and attract prospects to Colony
Create and expand communications efforts to market Colony as a destination for individuals and colleagues who might join through merger activities
Expand Curated by Colony platform to include additional providers.

Increase awareness and accessibility of the program by clients.

Train advisors and make it an integrated offering within Colony.
Participate in development of an app, secure access, and similar online vehicles
Develop and engage growing marketing team
Participate in employment branding and internal marketing and communication
The position requires:
15+ years Strategic marketer with brand, digital and multi-channel experience
Strong team leadership and management skills
Collaboration and influence skills across all levels of the organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-office environment and to juggle multiple strategic priorities and drive the completion of initiatives and tasks
Financial Services industry a strong plus
MBA and advanced degrees a plus
