Senior Vice President of Business Development

Senior Vice President of Business Development Sterling-Hoffman Executive Search Located in: New York City, New York A leading company in the life sciences industry is currently seeking a Senior Vice President of Business Development to join their team.

Job responsibilities include: 1) Identify, evaluate, prioritize and pursue partnership opportunities 2) Determine optimal deal structure and financial considerations 3) Integrate activities of functional groups across multiple projects 4) Develop and negotiate licensing term sheets 5) Identify key growth areas and evaluate opportunities 6) Support existing and new business 7) Lead contract negotiations and coordinate with all relevant functional teams 8) Support internal and external counsel 9) Facilitate management briefings on business development opportunities 10) Conduct detailed analysis to support communications with key stakeholders CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS 1) A university degree is required.

Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field 2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please) 3) Recent experience in the life sciences industry is strongly preferred 4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in business development This position is critical to the team and requires a talent who is both driven and highly skilled.
