Our Digital Consulting practice has an opportunity for an principal consultant with Life Sciences / Pharma experience, to join us in the central NJ area.
Our client represents Digital Consulting’s largest Life Sciences & Healthcare account, as well as one of HCL’s top 5 clients globally.
You will use your expertise to help continue to nurture and grow the account across all Digital Consulting capabilities.

As Principal Consultant:
• Serve as trusted partner, drive new connections and deepen relationships with client through knowledge sharing and thought leadership
• Generate new opportunities for Digital Consulting by partnering on RFP responses and engaging in client discussions
• Increase Digital Consulting awareness at client through hosting workshops, forums, round table discussions, etc.
• Monitor and facilitate administrative functions including resource onboarding/offboarding, invoice generation/payment, etc.
• Work with Digital Consulting sales team to achieve account revenue targets and margin requirements
• Provide oversight of all work and deliverables produced to ensure quality and adherence to client expectations
• Participate in QBR meetings and compile client satisfaction feedback through surveys, discussions, etc.
• Mentor, supervise, and coach consulting resources engaged at the client
• Partner with the HCL account team to align on account plan, growth objectives, and client messaging
• Partner with Digital Consulting Practice Leads to present subject matter expertise to client based on relevant topic discussion
Minimum Qualifications:
• 10+ years experience in delivering consulting/professional services
• 10+ years experience in managing project and consulting teams through the delivery of both business and technical projects
• 5+ years experience in the LIFE SCIENCES / PHARMA industry
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
• Experience building relationships with the CXO level and business decision makers, including articulating and advising on key strategy issues in their industry and/or area of the business
• Experience negotiating and facilitating difficult conversations
• Experience managing a $7-10MM or greater portfolio of work
• Ability to work permanently in the U.S.
on a full-time basis
Desired Qualifications:
• Domain experience in one or more of the following areas: R&D, Commercial-Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain & Manufacturing, Patient Engagement / Patient Services
• GxP / SDLC knowledge and related validation experience including: 21 CFR Part 11, Data Integrity, and Quality Management
• Regulatory Compliance and related experience including: Pharmaceutical Serialization, Medical Device, and/or UDI
• Understanding of industry trends and technology eco-system (i.e., Veeva, Medidata, SFDC, Oracle)
• Experience with the implementation of Cloud / SaaS / PaaS solutions
• Experience managing hybrid (on-site / off-shore) or virtu
