Position Summary: Sales Manager will direct and coordinate activities involving all aspects of mortgage origination from their sales teams.
They are responsible for the Loan Officers (LO’s) activities on their teams on a daily basis.
They will mentor, train and recruit new Loan officers.
Responsibilities:
· Interviewing new recruits and making hiring decisions
· Shift scheduling and monitoring of attendance of the LO’s on their team.
· Ensuring the LO’s logged in and available for inbound calls at their schedule times.
· Velocify CRM
· Ensure that each LO is knowledgeable in all aspects of Velocify.
· Capturing all required Lead Data
· Proper use of email marketing and follow up
· Setting ‘next actions’ for proper follow up on leads for future business
· Training ensure all their LO’s attend all weekly and monthly Lenox LO trainings.
· SM’s must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the industry and the tools we use here, including but not limited to:
· Sales and mortgage best practices
· UW guidelines and changes
· Velocify and Lending QB software
· Interactions with our vendors and business partners
· All LO’s on their teams to be licensed in 10 states minimum.
· All LO’s shall complete their Continuing education by end of November every year.
· Coaching and mentoring LO’s, help set them up for success at Lenox.
· Handling customer service issues elevated to him / her, including Realtor and escrow closing issues.
· Goal setting for LO’s and monitoring of performance.
· SM’s are expected to set proper performance expectations verbally and in writing thought out the month.
· These conversations and emails will be forwarded in writing to HR to be placed in that employees file.
· LO’s not meeting performance standards will be coached on where to improve.
· If they continue to not meet standards, a written PIP, and/ or Termination will follow.
· Loan Pricing
· SM’s are in charge of assisting LO’s with loan level pricing and locking of those loans.
· Before locking, checking each Lending QB file for accuracy and AUS and LP approval
· Sales Managers must meet minimum loan profit thresholds on each lock Qualifications: 1.
Must have strong competency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) 2.
Must have accuracy and attention to detail 3.
Must have great communication and organizational skills 4.
Ability to work with people at all levels Desired Education/Experience:
• 2-5 years’ experience processing mortgage loans.
• Current experience processing refi and or purchase loans.
• Proficient with Lender QB, or other paperless mortgage loan origination systems.
• Understanding of all compliance regulations and investor guidelines.
