Prestigious downtown Seattle global consulting firm is seeking to add a Senior Project Manager / PPM to the team the ideal candidate will have: 10 years of progressive business operations project management experience based on complexity, cost, business impact and length PMP certification 3 years working as a PPM MS Project 365, MS Project Professional MS Project Online Admin, Visual Studio, Power BI SharePoint project sites Familiar with HTML Experience at managing project manager as direct report PfMP, PgPMP, or PMI-ACP is a bonus Also will have experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies and application.
This role has potential of occasional domestic and international travel.
The Portfolio Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and managing delivery of projects across the all Corporate Departments.
This role is also responsible for driving portfolio project management including setting a strategic portfolio roadmap, project planning, project status tracking, portfolio risk management, and reporting.
This is a very hands-on role, working closely with the Director of Global Corporate Solutions, Executive Leadership and other project managers to build out a PPM and project management function.
The Portfolio Project Manager will: Manage the project management function and drive toward strategic portfolio management Lead the implementation of project management governance & standards Establish a framework that supports upcoming project teams and stakeholders Create project reporting, tools, and templates Establish a project requests protocol and manage projects through a proper approval process Develop and establish project manager levels based on role competencies and project size Oversee ongoing management of the portfolio with the goal of achieving proper resource utilization, budget oversight and stakeholder management Coach and develop junior project managers both inside and outside the team Provide guidance and be able to present and train on project management best practices Hands-on management with large enterprise system projects Ensure issues and risks are managed, mitigated and communicated to the leadership with understand of project impact Manage resource capacity on an ongoing basis and mitigate resource availability related risks Annual salary is to $145,000.00 with bonus potential and excellent benefits.
