Description:The THAAD Localization Program is seeking a Project Manager to lead and support program management office (PMO) activities under the Upper Tier Integrated Air & Missile Defense (UTIAMD) International organization. THAAD Localization is a dynamic and growing program, responsible for the successful capture and execution of industrial development requirements for the UTIAMD organization. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Localization Program efforts to enable achievement of overall program and LM objectives. Responsibilities of the selected candidate include, but are not limited to:
Support and/or Lead recurring Localization Program business rhythm activities, such as: Program Execution Meetings, Risk and Opportunities Management reviews, internal and external Customer meetings, and other cross functional collaboration engagements.
Support the THAAD Localization PMO with ongoing and future proposal / campaign efforts
Support the THAAD Localization PMO with developing/executing localization strategic imperatives
Coordinate the preparation and delivery of contractual deliverables with support from functional stakeholders
Manage performance tracking and reporting activities, to include manpower planning and program financials
Other support activities as assigned by the Localization Program Manager
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
Project management experience
Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with various functional stakeholders
Ability to interface with functional teams to develop solutions to complex issues
Strong oral and written communication skills – formal presentation skills
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited as needed basis
Desired Skills:
International business, strategy, or military experience
Experience using Project Management tools (Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office)
Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) experience
Experience supporting cross-functional teams
Strong business acumen
Experience working with international programs
