Azure will be the best cloud for every industry, every segment, every customer – as our landscape evolves, come make that happen with us.**Responsibilities**+ Partner in the strategy, buildout plans, and blueprints for Azure infrastructure to the most demanding customer requirements, and shepherd solutions that produce increased business productivity+ Drive accountability of Azure investments principles, while improving deployment efficiency and cost optimizations+ Lead cross-organization partnership throughout Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I), Real Estate & Facilities (RE) and Engineering Managers to drive alignment and standardization of sovereign construction projects+ Directly shape the strategy for delivery of standardized builds around the globe+ Disseminates a common project culture and mindset by informing, communicating and training teams about techniques, methodologies and best practices**Qualifications****Required Qualifications**+ 5+ years of progressive responsibility in development of complex capital projects+ Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Project Management, or Construction Management+ Experience managing multiple large multi-faceted projects+ Ability to lead a team and report out to Microsoft Senior Leadership+ Strong verbal and written communication skills+ Ability to influence cross-discipline teams+ Construction health & safety knowledge**Preferred Qualifications**+ Strong analytical skills, combined with a strategic orientation, as well as an aptitude for solving complex business problems+ Ability to resolve ambiguity or conflict situations to bring global teams and business groups into alignment+ Technical problem-solving and analytical skills using data analysis and escalation management in a complex environment+ Experience managing projects with multiple work streams and partners; demonstrated strategic planning abilities+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to impact & influence key stakeholders**Citizenship Requirements**+ Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements.**Location Requirements**+ This position is located in Redmond, WA and will require relocation if you do not currently live in the general area.Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
