SUMMARY
This Senior Product Sales Manager is a part of the Ansys Transversal Specialized Sales Organization that brings the most complex and innovative Ansys Solutions to the Market.
The Senior Product Sales Managerwill specifically support System BU Digital Twin initiatives throughout AMERICAS.
The Digital Twin BU Tools and Processes also cover: Software Development, Testing and Certification, System Safety and Security, Autonomous Vehicle Sensors and Driving Simulator Solutions and adjacent platform solutions.
The Senior Product Sales Manager is primarily responsible for supporting sales and above average company growth targets as a sales overlay in AMERICAS.
Assigned target customers are enterprise and strategic accounts, which are typically the largest global accounts at Ansys with high expectations of customer engagement, collaboration, executive sponsorship, and growth.
The successful Senior Product Sales Manager must understand customer environment, the customer’s customer/eco-system, customer’s business priorities, customer’s business challenges to align Ansyssolutions to generate a measurable and impactful business outcome for the customer.
The Senior Product Sales Managermust gain executive level sponsorship (with the customer and inside of Ansys), purchase commitment and manage the ongoing business relationship with the customer.
**This position has the ability to sit remotely from anywhere in the US.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs product sales activities for new/renewal business for one or more assigned product lines to achieve or exceed assigned product and service revenue objectives.
Partners withfield and enterprise sales within Ansys and Channel partners, to collaboratively develop and pro-actively execute strategies that drive product and service revenue as part of an overall accountstrategy.
Support the closing of sales of Ansys Twin Builder software and services in close collaboration with the Ansys direct teams, driving successful contract negotiations where required
Effectivelycontributes toall stages of the sales process.
Facilitates communication with the sales and technical team with respect to updates onproduct capabilities, success stories and winning strategies.
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospectivecustomers to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.
Participates in industry shows and conventions.
Creates and leads advanced solutionpresentations to matchidentifiedcustomer needs using company’s products & services.
Identifies Ansys advantages andpositions Ansys’ products and services as superior to competitive offerings.
Coordinates and organizes technical (ACE) support for demos,PoCs, support of evaluation,training etc.
Works with team members to develop clear and effective written proposals, quotations, andvalue propositions for current and prospective customers.
Provides client feedback to product development and marketing staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business or related field with 6+years sales or consulting experience in selling engineering/technologyapplications with a proven track record of success OR 10+years sales or consulting experience in selling engineering/technologyapplications with a proven track record of success.
Demonstrated proficiency of engineering analysis and technology.
Excellentcommunication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently,interdisciplinary and with several teams (ACE, DEV, Marketing, PM etc.) and hierarchies within theorganization.
Ability to foster collaboration & coordination with personal distributed across multiple global sites.
Demonstrated knowledge of company’s products/services and pricing practices.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the product market position.
Aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine appropriate solutions for customers.
Fluent in English; Fluent in French and / or German would be a plus
