As Alation’s Sr Product Marketing Manager, you’ll help the market see the value of our partnerships. nn nnThe Sr Product Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally and with our growing ecosystem of Tier 1 partners (including AWS, Snowflake, and Tableau) to accelerate Alation’s growth through partner-driven sales.

The focus will be to support partner related Go-To-Market messaging and content.

The role will involve creating joint messaging and content, and assisting with partner co-marketing activities to drive demand for the Alation Data Catalog and related solutions.

They will report to the VP of Product Marketing, and will work closely with the business development team.

This role can be located anywhere in the US.nn nJob Scope:n Create compelling and insightful Alation
– and Partner-driven content, such as:  joint messaging & value propositions, white papers, blog posts, training decks, and solution briefs Work cross functionally to build and execute joint GTM programs on the benefits of integrations between partner and Alation, that result in net-new joint sales pipeline Create (or repurpose existing) field-facing content to enable partners and drive pipeline generation Assist with Alation
– and partner-led marketing programs (e.g.

digital marketing, joint case studies, joint webinars, workshops, and other events) Provide consistent and programmatic communication to partner counterparts Assist with partner enablement nMust Have:n Proven track record at creating content used for marketing and sales purposes Experience orchestrating successful joint marketing programs across partner and internal teams Experience in the data integration market and related connectivity standards such as ODBC and JDBC.

Strong knowledge of cloud vendor and/or BI technology stack and market landscape Working knowledge of software infrastructure, cloud services, data analytics/BI/data warehousing, data science and data governance Experience interacting with partner sales and marketing teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills 3 or more years of partner marketing and/or alliance program management experience BS degree or higher or equivalent experience; preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent nNice to Have:n nnExamples of leading partner marketing activities and deliverables that have led to growth (or other stated goals) for each partner organizationnn nnHands on experience with a range of data platforms including RDBMS, BI, NoSQL, file systems, and/or applicationsnn nnExperience with authentication schemes and identity management technologiesnn nnOur founders have come together from different backgrounds: business, engineering, and design.
