About the job

As a member of the ASSA ABLOY Product Management team, you will play a key role in driving the vision, design, implementation and profitability of our platforms, products, and services.

You will be responsible for understanding market trends, competitors and developing innovative solutions to solve customer needs.

This position is a highly visible interdisciplinary role that interfaces with global development teams, quality, operations, support, marketing, and sales.

The Expertise You Have:
Bachelor’s degree: MBA preferred
Certification in Agile methodologies desirable (e.g.

SAFe)
Minimum 7 years of product management experience
Experience working in complex organizations and with global teams

The Skills You Bring:
Must be structured, organized, and extremely detail-oriented
Demonstrated success in establishing credibility and influencing key stakeholders
Ability to plan, prioritize and effectively manage multiple complex initiatives concurrently within a fast-paced environment
Proven success in driving revenue and growth
Experience managing platforms that include cloud applications and infrastructure, hardware, and mobile applications
Experience managing products that utilize wireless communications
Experience in the IoT space preferred
Familiarity with groupware applications including Jira, Confluence, Teams and Slack
Experience working with agile methodologies

The Value You Deliver:

Translate customer needs into capabilities and features for the development team.

This includes translating customer and partner research, competitive intelligence, market trends, and economic factors into overall product strategy.
Conduct business case and feasibility analysis for strategic platform/product development and new platform/product introductions
Evangelize new products, solutions and services within the company and guarantee that internal departments are aligned for success
Ensure that solutions are within optimal price margins and meet required specifications and standards
Develop roadmaps and business cases in support of new platform and product offerings
Work with key stakeholders to align corporate strategy and strategic product and solution roadmaps that exceed our customers’ expectations and offer greater customer and partner benefit at lower costs
Drive the outcome of platform/product initiatives
Conduct user research, synthesize internal stakeholder feedback and analytics to make platform/product line decisions
