What’s the job?
As Senior Marketing Operations & Data Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of marketing operations internally and with clients to ensure that platforms, tools and processes are in place to generate, capture and nurture leads and opportunities in order to drive the pipeline.
Furthermore, you’ll own the operational engine, help anticipate needs, use data for decision-making, and streamline processes and drive efficiencies.
Your work will foster incredible business performance and create cohesion and continuity across all marketing efforts.
You’ll also spearhead efforts on any list-building or database-appending projects.
What are the responsibilities?
In addition to the big picture outlined in the description above, the Senior Marketing Operations & Data Manager has the following responsibilities and duties
Manage the marketing operations tech stack for clients and be the subject matter expert for marketing teams by supporting tool selection, usage, troubleshooting, configuration and enablement.
Identify opportunities, recommend solutions and implement marketing technologies that enhance the user experience and improve reporting systems.
Deliver and maintain training and resource materials, highlighting best practices and opportunities for efficiency.
Put together CRM, marketing automation and other tech tool implementation plans for clients.
Build out and maintain Marketing Operations best practices for the lead lifecycle, attribution/reporting, lead scoring, lead routing and campaign management in a playbook format for different stages of growth.
Work with content marketing and demand generation to build, operate and optimize email marketing programs for our clients.
Produce and maintain a set of business analytic reports and dashboards to allow the marketing team to understand the state of our funnel and analyze current versus past performance.
Set up lead scoring and distribution rules to ensure seamless lead management.
Work closely with the greater marketing team to accurately track marketing spend.
As required, source, compile, consolidate, and build highly targeted and segmented lists for marketing campaigns.
Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data-gathering techniques.

Qualifications
Requirements
5+ yrs experience in a marketing operations or demand generation role in a B2B organization Fluency in end-to-end marketing technology ecosystems with a solid understanding of marketing automation systems such as Marketo/Hubspot CRM certification with Marketo (strongly preferred), Eloqua or HubSpot Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively use data to explain business trends Experience tracking and reporting digital and in-person channels (trade shows, field events, etc) Expertise in Excel and/or Google Sheets Highly organized and autonomous, but also collaborative and able to work cross-functionally Goal-oriented with the ability to manage complex projects across teams Track record of successfully scaling marketing or communication campaigns Deep understanding of database structure, data hygiene and analytics Governance experience with large marketing automation, digital communication, CRM or similar platforms Leadership and communication excellence, with a talent for driving consensus and articulating program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives
