Role and Responsibilities This position supports a multinational initiative (Fast-Track Cities initiative) whose aim is to assist high HIV burden cities around the world to accelerate their local AIDS responses and attain United Nations programmatic targets.
The roles and responsibilities of the Strategic Information Manager include: * Support the development and on-going maintenance of online data dashboards in Fast-Track Cities * Organize, store, and analyze HIV, TB, and HCV data across the network of 200+ Fast-Track Cities * Provide technical assistance to city/municipal health departments to generate standardized HIV, TB, and HCV indicators/targets * Coordinate routine internal and external inter-departmental strategic information reports * Conduct data analysis for abstracts, presentations, and publications * Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements Master’s level degree preferably in public health, information management, data science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in strategic information management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
Skills Proven competency in data organization and analysis with a focus on health sector programming.
Knowledge of HIV indicators and global HIV targets.
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SSPS and off the shelf databases.
Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and change management skills; team player with demonstrated cross-cultural interpersonal skills; and exceptional oral and written communication skills.
