What does a Senior Manager, Cross-Sell Marketing do?
The Marketing Cross Sell Senior Manager is responsible for the marketing of the products and services and ensuring that the products/solutions are positioned to sell, based on the needs of the Small Business Customer segment, through digital channels and through our Inside Sales and Outside Sales teams.
The position requires understanding trends in these industries and within set regions, along with understanding the behaviors and preferences of our best SMB customers.
You will work with the Head of Marketing to help create the business case and go-to-market strategy and marketing plans to position Clover Business Solutions as a highly valued partner to our small business clients, while delivering profitable growth for the company.
You’ll collaborate across our company to create compelling offers, which will include bundled solutions that are the best fit for our customers.
In this role, you can expect to:
Work with the core Marketing team on the development of success metrics and ROI, and monitoring results of each program.
Marketing campaigns will include highly-targeted customer digital and social media, email, product launches; cross-sell programs for new offerings; sales collateral, sales templates/talking points, interactive sales enablement tools to simplify the outreach and tracking, creation and tracking of offers, creation of customer webinars, management of client events, and working with our Communications teams.
Execute strategic initiatives, working with senior leadership, and multiple small projects.
Coordinate activities of a larger project team including market research and analysis, financial analysis/forecasting results weekly and monthly, competitive assessments, and segmentation definition
Provide customer/data analytics, program implementation, program reengineering to simplify our Go To Market time lines and campaigns
Create Sales training playbooks and Standard Operating Procedures for marketing campaigns, coordinate with marketing operations, project status reporting, and post-rollout review/audit.
Work with our data analytics team to monitor, evaluate and document the progress of each project and provide the right level of communication depending on marketing initiative.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of progressive marketing or product management experience in a business to business or B2B2C environment of a fortune 300 company, or for a marketing or digital agency managing such clients for acquisition or cross sell campaigns
3+ years of marketing program management experience requiring planning and execution of marketing campaigns with a successful track record of delivering positive results to your firm or client.
Prior professional experience working with Sales and Sales Operations, Sales tracking/reporting and financial outcome reporting
2+ years of digital marketing, email marketing and/or marketing automation programs
Professional experience with vendor selection, Statement of Work creation and vendor management.
Prior experience using a CRM, such as Salesforce.com or Microsoft Dynamics for tracking and reporting
Experience writing/editing marketing messages and materials, including headlines, key benefits, calls to action for digital and print
Experience with marketing data flows, parameter tracking and how it relates to ROI tracking of marketing campaign
