The Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis, America is responsible for leading business planning, conducting analysis, as well as providing management reporting and strategic decision making across the GEODIS.
- Facilitates executive management business performance reviews including variance analysis and the subsequent presentation of forecasts and analysis
- Delivers innovative, high value-added financial information to the management team for strategic decision making
- Conducts return on investment (ROI) analysis and provides strategic investment decision recommendations to senior management
- Leads monthly stakeholder reporting and analysis
- Analyzes monthly financial results to identify issues and opportunities for improvement; collaborates with senior leadership to analyze and propose potential solutions to drive improved business results
- Develops new reporting tools to enhance visibility and creates financial models for profitability analysis
- Facilitates planning initiatives enterprise wide including development of detailed templates, consolidation of budgets, and detailed analysis of revenue and expense drivers
- Partners with stakeholders throughout the company to ensure financial management responsibilities are understood and financial goals are exceeded
- Conducts ad-hoc analysis and leads various business projects using financial systems tools to improve financial processes and increase productivity

Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from a 4 year college or university
- Minimum 2 years corporate financial planning and analysis experience
- Minimum 6 years corporate finance experience
- PC literate to include Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Ability to read and understand financial reports/statements
- Ability to review, interpret, and synthesize business information
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from executive management and co-workers
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
