The Executive Talent Acquisition Pipeline & Sourcing Partner is part of the Global Executive Pipeline & Sourcing team responsible for executive positions.
As a talent advisor the Executive Pipeline & Sourcing Partner will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, manage proactive sourcing, candidate screening, talent pipeline development, and supporting succession planning needs for the Global Drug Development (GDD) and Research & Early Development (R&ED) business units.
The Executive Pipeline & Sourcing Partner will work globally with recruiters and hiring leaders in the effort to shorten the selection process, deliver top talent and build robust candidate pipelines for BMS.
Develop and implement talent pipeline strategies to identify high potential candidates, by utilizing all available candidate sources globally (LinkedIn, professional associations, conference programs, attendee lists, social media, etc.)
Own and excel in the ongoing talent pipeline relationship management responsibility by engaging high-quality passive talent to assess their drivers (timing, location, career aspirations) and fit for current or future positions at BMS to support proactive talent strategies to enable a robust external pipeline and succession planning strategy.
Develop and implement strategies and programs that will result in a dynamic and superior candidate experience and candidate satisfaction
Partner with the talent strategy & innovation team on the management of sourcing channels to build diverse candidate pipelines utilizing various sourcing methodologies, channels, tools and technologies
Liaise with Talent Management, Recruiters and Talent Acquisition (TA) Leads to develop sourcing and engagement strategies aligned to workforce plans and hiring demand plans in order to develop short and long term sourcing strategies to meet strategic recruitment goals
Provide sourcing and pipeline expertise, as well as input on external trends and best practices to TA teams and Business Leaders across the globe
Responsible for data integrity within the applicant tracking system, candidate relationship management systems and other related tools
Develop and maintain a network of qualified, diverse and talented candidates through competitive sourcing methodologies
Build and maintain meaningful and trusted relationships that result in dynamic hiring manager and candidate experiences
Utilize BMS’s Employer Brand to effectively build relationships with external candidates and to ‘market’ opportunities within BMS
Liaise with Recruiters and TA leads to understand the objectives of participation in industry conferences and congresses.
Support participation in conferences and congresses as required
Qualifications & Experience
6-8 years recruiting experience, with 5 years’ executive-level sourcing experience proactively generating candidates for hard to fill positions.
Experience in a Pharmaceutical/Biotech environment and R&D experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to synthesize ad hoc market intelligence data to provide information (talent market trend, threats, opportunity, etc.) to be used at business strategy level
Expert level knowledge in candidate attraction and relationship building
Excellent at building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines
Expert level of knowledge of full life-cycle recruiting activities including, but not limited to, sourcing, screening, networking, and executive succession planning
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of a highly matrixed organization and the ability to work across cross-functional, cross-organizational teams
Demonstrated ability to effectively execute pipeline and succession strategies with senior executives and a high degree of executive presence
Demonstrated ability to effectively partner and collaborate with colleagues in the Centers of Expertise and peers in People Services to deliver the most qualified talent for the company
Demonstrated ability to develop meaningful and trusted relationships with all levels of an organization
Strong understanding of technology and experience using talent acquisition systems, including Applicant Tracking, Candidate Relationship Management, social media, and other predictive tools
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and influence others to accomplish goals and objectives
Demonstrated ability to partner, manage and influence virtually
Demonstrated ability to work with outsource providers and contractors, if necessary
Minimum Requirements/Knowledge Desired:
Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years relevant experience
Consulting skills/ impact and influence abilities/ strong stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills
